Every Round Women's FA Cup 24/25
Join me on my travels with this season's blog, 'Andover To Wembley - Adobe WFA Cup 2024/25'.
I will try to capture the flavour, from local match thrills to the ultimate Wembley showdown. Join me on my wanderings through the qualifying rounds into the main competition and then see the country's finest battle their way to Wembley.
Opening at Andover New Street, staying in Hampshire (longer than I was expecting!) via Sholing Sports, Fleet Town, Winchester City and AFC Portchester. Round 3 a Step 5 trip to Brentford at Bedfont Sports FC. Round 4 another capital city contest, this time at Craven Cottage for Step 4 Fulham.
Moving into the last sixteen and back to Hampshire for an all Championship clash at Portsmouth.
The QF draw was very kind to the big four with home ties for both Manchester clubs plus Chelsea and Arsenal getting home advantage. Only disappointment at this stage of the competition is that none of the four sides chose to play the games at their Premier League stadium.
Another London derby in the last eight for me Chelsea v Palace, seeing the home side advancing.
The semi-final draw was kind to the only remaining southern based team , allowing me a return visit to Kingsmeadow for Chelsea against Liverpool whilst it was a Manchester derby in the other semi.
**Sunday 18th May 2025**
I got to every round of the competition with Wembley Stadium being the furthest north I travelled.
A total of 514 clubs entered this season's competition, it was my pleasure to see 17 of those in action on my journey.
Thank you to anyone that's taken the time to read the blog, repost or like any of the social media links that I've put out over the last nine months.

About me
A relatively newcomer to Women's football. My first games coming in the afterglow of our magnificent Lionesses 2022 triumph.
Last season 23/24 my Grass Roots to Wembley dream was momentarily dashed when my best mate from school got married on the same day as the Spurs v. Leicester semi-final. However, my commitment remains unwavering, and I am confident I can go from Andover New Street in the First Qualifying Round all the way to Wembley. Hopefully I'll connect with fellow football lovers on the way by providing engaging content that highlights the excitement, challenges, and triumphs of my journey.
